The Guiri World

A 'guiri' is word given to foreign tourists in Spain. Although it should be addressed to pale-skinned, sun lovers sipping sangria in the Costa Brava, I got called it as I lived in Spain for almost 3 years. And although my guiri world was indeed enhanced by blue skies, hot suns and tasty tapas, living in Valencia offered me a lot more.
